Man City keeper Carson delighted winning new deal

Manchester City goalkeeper Scott Carson is set to remain at the club for one more season.

The veteran shot stopper has put pen to paper on a one year contract extension.

Carson, who is now 38, has been at the club either on loan or permanently since 2019.

I'm looking forward to another season as part of this incredible squad at City," said Carson after agreeing to stay.

Every day I work hard and learn something new from Pep [Guardiola], [goalkeeping coach] Xabi Mancisidor and the world class group of players.

Hopefully I can continue to help our goalkeepers perform at their best as we challenge for even more trophies."
