Man United-linked midfielder extends contract until 2026 but has tempting release clause

Manchester United are often linked with signing players and this summer is and will be, no exception.

The Red Devils are a commercial juggernaut and consequently find their name attached to some of the sport’s biggest and best players, and one name who emerged as a candidate to sign for United this summer was RB Leipzig attacking midfielder Christopher Nkunku.

Rumoured to be admired by former interim boss Ralf Rangnick ( SportBILD via Sport Witness), the 24-year-old French attacker found himself well placed to move to Old Trafford this summer.
