Manchester United's young striker Joe Hugill has agreed a new contract with the club.

The Red Devils are set to secure the future of the 19-year-old forward, who has impressed head coach Erik ten Hag.

Per The Mail, Hugill will sign his new deal in the coming weeks, as he is happy with his progress at the club.

Ten Hag will give him some time this season to impress and show his skills in the first team.

However, Hugill will most likely leave on loan, possibly as early as the January transfer window.

Signed from Sunderland in 2020, Hugill could even return to Wearside for that loan spell.
