According to Fabrizio Romano, United have put in a new bid for Onana this week.
Their proposal is valued at 45 million, with another 4.2 million in add-ons related to future performance.
United want to get the deal wrapped up this week to ensure Onana is on the plane for their preseason tour of the United States.
