Manchester United defender Harry Maguire was booked in the aftermath of their 4-3 loss to Chelsea.

The Red Devils were unable to hold onto a 3-2 lead against the Blues at Stamford Bridge.

Two late Cole Palmer goals in added time meant that United went home with nothing from the game.

Maguire was cautioned during the incidents at the end of the game, with many United players reacting furiously to the referee for awarding a late penalty that had made it 3-3.

Speaking to TNT Sports post-match, manager Erik Ten Hag bemoaned: "You cannot give it away like we did and we have to manage this game better. It is a team performance, you can point to one of the players but it is about team performance.

"When it gets chaotic you have to deal with it as a team and we made the wrong decisions and we didn't help out as a team.

Out of possession we made bad decisions. Also, I think lucky at the end with the penalty situation, questionable and very soft but we have to do better."
