Man Utd include Greenwood on retained list; Mejia, Huddlestone offered new deals

Manchester United have named Mason Greenwood on their retained list today.

The England striker's future remains clouded as management considers his future.

However, Greenwood was named on the retained list today, as United announced the departures of Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones. Ethan Galbraith and Di'Shon Bernard are also leaving.

At the same time, United have taken advantage of the opportunity to extend with goalkeepers Tom Heaton and Nathan Bishop.

They also announced talks over a new deal with David de Gea were continuing.

Meanwhile, extensions were triggered for defenders Rhys Bennett and Ethan Laird, while Under-21s player coach Tom Huddlestone is expected to stay after discussions over a new contract.
