Man Utd veteran Casemiro: Maguire played injured in FA Cup semi

Manchester United veteran Casemiro has admitted teammate Harry Maguire was injured for their FA Cup semi final against Coventry City.

The Three Lions center half put in a commendable display, scoring in a dramatic 3-3 draw.

United won the contest on penalties after the game ended as a tie at the end of extra time.

Casemiro, as quoted by the Metro, said: "Today I played as a defender. We have six defenders.

H [Harry Maguire] was injured. He played injured this game. Since the beginning [of the game] he was injured.

He played injured in the last match. I played as a central defender. I don't know how many injuries we have from different players.

I think it can never be an excuse for such a big team with so many players. But it ends up hurting."
