Man Utd youngster Gore struggling at Port Vale

Manchester United loanee Dan Gore could be out with injury until the summer.

The youngster is on loan at Port Vale, but picked up a knock in a defeat to Portsmouth in late January.

He was initially expected to come back in March, but may have suffered a setback.

Speaking at the weekend, Port Vale boss Darren Moore said: "With Dan Gore, that's an ongoing, persistent problem.

Whether we feel he's going to be back for any part of this season, we're not too sure.

"It's not looking too good for him at the moment and it's a persistent one that we'll still monitor."
