Meanwhile, the German club is in 21st place, with five points after four games and a record of one win, two draws, and one loss.

Man City enters this match in high spirits, having authoritatively defeated Liverpool 3-0 in its last Premier League match on Nov. 9.

That said, Leverkusen also arrives in good form, after defeating Wolfsburg 3-1 on Saturday in the Bundesliga's return.
