Manchester City and West Ham United go head to head on Wednesday, with both sides looking for three points for different reasons.
City could go top of the league after Arsenal leapfrogged them after a convincing 3-1 victory against Chelsea on Tuesday night at the Emirates. In contrast, West Ham are looking to distance themselves from being dragged further into a relegation battle.
Pep Guardiola and his staff will continue to monitor two crucial players, with Kevin de Bruyne and Nathan Ake being the most prominent absentees.
Ake has returned to full training after missing the last three games with a thigh injury.
"Nathan [Ake] trained yesterday and feels good," said Guardiola in Tuesday's pre-match press conference.
De Bruyne looks less likely to line up against the Hammers, having not trained with the squad before Tuesday's late afternoon session after missing the win at Fulham with a minor problem.
"Kevin's [De Bruyne] started to move but didn't train with the team - we have training in a few hours, and we'll see how they feel."
West Ham are assessing the ankle injury suffered by defender Kurt Zouma against Crystal Palace but fears he may be out for several weeks.
"We have one or two knocks and niggles," David Moyes said.
"I wouldn't [want to put a time on it] because I am not a medical man. But Kurt [Zouma] is a bit different. He is good and getting himself ready and back fit. We are hoping he will be fine."
Striker Gianluca Scamacca has undergone surgery to repair a knee issue and will continue his rehabilitation since being out of the Hammers squad since March.
"Every game is important," Moyes continued when asked about the challenge of facing the reigning Premier League champions.
"There is a big battle at the bottom end of the league, so we are certainly not going to give up any game. We have to go out there and put in the best performance we possibly can."
