Manchester City's Raheem Sterling interested in move to Chelsea

New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is wasting no time preparing the team for next season, and he currently has his sights set on Raheem Sterling.

Multiple sources report the Jamaican forward is interested in leaving Manchester City, where his contract is up next summer. According to ESPN, Man City prefers to receive a fee for Sterling's exit this summer than let him leave for free next year, pricing him at 50-60 million Euros.

The club's decision to receive a fee, plus Sterling's immediate interest in leaving, has brought up questions as to whether Man City manager Pep Guardiola views Sterling as part of his team's big attack.

Even if he is not wanted at Man City, Sterling will not be short on suitors around Europe. It is rumored that Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also interested parties, although Chelsea remains the frontrunner.

Sterling would be the first big addition since Boehly officially took over at Chelsea last month. Boehly, who also partially owns the Los Angeles Dodgers, frees the team up from former owner Roman Abramovich, who is under strict sanctions because of his alleged ties to Vladimir Putin.
