Manchester United add one more midfielder to the very top of their transfer wishlist

Manchester United are going to be major players in the summer transfer window for a new midfield player, as their current crop of talent isn’t quite good enough, especially over the long term.

Premier League breakout stars Elliot Anderson, Adam Wharton, and Carlos Baleba are widely seen as the three biggest targets for Manchester United in summer 2026 when they will become available for transfer.

However, Man United aren’t just restricting themselves to the Premier League. Young German defensive midfielder Angelo Stiller is someone the Red Devils have been tracking, for example.

And now, Ben Jacobs of talkSPORT reports that Manchester United are actually quite high on the Stuttgart man as a player. Both executives Christopher Vivell and Jason Wilcox are huge fans of Stiller.

That means Manchester United fans can move Stiller near the top of the transfer wishlist, too. Wanted by Hansi Flick and Xabi Alonso over at La Liga powerhouses Barcelona and Real Madrid, respectively, Stiller may be the 1b to the 1a trio of Premier League midfielders.
