The massive protest, which reportedly started at a pub and ended at the front of the stadium, took place ahead of Monday's match against Premier League rival Liverpool.

Displeasure with the club's American owners, the Glazer family, has risen to an all-time high to start the new season. The greater fan base was already vocally unhappy with the direction the team has gone in, and that discontent has escalated since the team started the 2022-23 campaign toward the bottom of the Premier League table with two straight losses including a 4-0 obliteration against Brentford.
