Manchester United are one of twenty sides in the Premier League aiming for success this season.

The Red Devils, who are fifth in the English top flight currently, recently beat local rivals Manchester City 2-0 in this campaign’s last Manchester derby.

Meanwhile, United have also faced difficulties with them having to sack manager Ruben Amorim and bring in Michael Carrick as caretaker manager until the end of the season.

However, with the Red Devils now in the middle of the January transfer window, Carrick may have the opportunity to sign players that could aid Manchester United in the closing stages of the season.

If this was to occur, these players would make their debuts in the remaining Premier League matches.

However, it is not just the men’s first-team where the January transfer window is open currently because the women’s team are also in the middle of the window.

Now, the women’s side have handed full debuts to both Lea Schuller and Hanna Lundkvist in United’s FA Cup victory against Burnley Women.

Meanwhile, Marc Skinner also gave debuts to Ellen Wangerheim and 16-year-old Layla Drury.

Ellen Wangerheim had signed for the women’s team earlier this week, whilst Layla Drury had been on the bench for United’s Women’s Super League clash with Arsenal last week and the Women’s League Cup quarter-final with Tottenham Hotspur on the 21st of December.

Furthermore, Schuller and Lundkvist had both made their first appearances against Arsenal with the duo coming off the bench in the second-half.

Now, with the four players having made their debuts for Manchester United, fans may look towards Skinner to see if he comments about any of the four players.

Meanwhile, supporters may choose to turn their attention towards the four players to see if they comment on their landmark moment.
