Amid the Osimhen rumors, Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol wrote on X that Saudi Arabia could be looking to outmaneuver the top European clubs for the Nigerian.

“Saudi Pro League clubs are planning on making big moves in the summer window again with approaches being considered for players such as Bruno Fernandes, Jack Grealish and Victor Osimhen,” Solhekol wrote.

This news comes after  TBR Football reported , citing sources, that Liverpool have Osimhen as one of two targets that they are considering to bolster their No. 9 position this summer. Furthermore, the outlet’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, has confirmed that Liverpool have done work on a move for Osimhen from Napoli.

Meanwhile, Foot Mercato reported Monday that only the Premier League has the financial power to meet Osimhen’s steep salary demands, which are said to be around €12 million a year. That gives Manchester United a solid edge in the race to sign him.

Still in the market for a dependable No. 9, United have reportedly narrowed their search to four main targets. Osimhen is believed to be keen on a move to Manchester United, and a recent meeting between his representatives and the club suggests serious mutual interest.
