Manchester United continue to appear in conversations surrounding Europe’s emerging talents. Their scouting department shows determination to remain active after their recent work in the market. We reported earlier that Manchester United looked at the Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kauã Santos before signing Senne Lammens, and the same approach of targeting players with potential appears to guide them again. Many now focus on Juventus midfielder Kenan Yildiz, a young Turkey international whose performances in Serie A have drawn headlines across the continent.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke, speaking on the Inside Track podcast for Football Insider, explained that Premier League clubs already explored his availability during the summer. Chelsea approached Juventus but failed to make progress, while fresh reports claim that Manchester United and Arsenal remain in the frame.
Yildiz has scored two goals and provided four assists in just five appearances this term, building on the strong impression he made last season. Juventus see the winger as their future and signed him until 2029. They gave him the number 10 shirt once worn by Alessandro Del Piero. Even so, speculation lingers, because should Juventus fail to reach the Champions League, offers above €80 million could test their resolve.
“I think there’ll be a number of Premier League clubs who would love Kenan Yildiz who’s a top player and Turkey International and has really impressed for Juventus over the last 18 months or so.
“He’s got two goals and four assists in five matches in all competitions so far for Juventus this term. He’s regarded as one of the best young attacking players in Europe right now as well.
So, no surprise that Premier League clubs are looking at him. Chelsea sounded out a potential move in the summer window, and now we’ve got supposed interest from Man United and Arsenal.”
Kenan Yildiz has quickly become one of the most creative young attacking midfielders in Europe, and his influence continues to grow for both club and country. The 20-year-old provides creativity in possession, using vision and sharp passing to open spaces. He can carry the ball past defenders with confidence before producing a finish of his own. The Turkish youngster has shown his ability to score from distance and has become reliable on set pieces. This adds more attacking options for Juventus.
He also shows strong technical skill, as he controls the ball in congested areas and rarely wastes possession. Managers value his flexibility. He can play as a number 10, on either wing, or as a second striker. Yildiz’s composure in front of goal and hunger to improve show his strong mentality despite his age. However, he sometimes loses focus against organised opponents. The 20-year-old’s pressing lacks consistency. He occasionally holds the ball too long or shoots instead of passing.
Interest from Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal will remain a theme across the coming months, though Juventus insist he stays central to their project. For now, Yildiz stays settled in Turin, but the transfer market often changes quickly. Barcelona want to sign Kobbie Mainoo from Manchester United, and such twists could shape Yildiz’s future too.
