Manchester United are going through yet another huge change as the club continue to prepare for the post-Amorim era.

The Portuguese manager was sacked in January with Darren Fletcher holding the fort until Michael Carrick was appointed as caretaker manager until the end of the season.

Whilst his recent run as the United boss is putting him in as a strong contender for the permanent job at Old Trafford, it’s not a done deal yet.

Either way, a midfield overhaul is expected, with Casemiro coming to the end of his contract, already confirming he’s leaving the club at the end of the season.

However, he’s not the only United player to do so, with academy star Alfie Walker also having taken to social media to confirm his Manchester United exit.

Posting a carousel of images of his time in the Manchester United academy onto Instagram, Walker bid a final farewell to the club he’s spent nearly a decade with.

Accompanying the images, his caption read: “After 9 years at the club, this season will be my last.”

It continued: “I would like to thank all the staff and players who have helped me get to where I am today.

“I have made some great memories and friends, but I am excited for my next chapter and a new challenge.”

The post was met with likes and responses from freinds, family and fans alike, with Kai Rooney commenting “will be missed brother” with a heart emoji.

Similarly to Rooney, Amir Ibragimov commented “All the best brother” with a heart emoji.

This post marks the end of his United journey as he prepares to join rivals Leeds United after having been on trial with the side over recent weeks.
