Manchester United have officially confirmed when supporters will get their first full look at the club’s new 2026/27 home kit.
The club teased the announcement on Instagram with a simple post reading ‘14.05.26’ alongside both the Manchester United and Adidas logos.
It comes after several leaks surrounding the shirt design had already circulated online in recent months.
Manchester United are also expected to wear the new home kit during their final two matches of the current season.
Those games are against Nottingham Forest and Brighton.
Not every current player will be wearing it next season though.
Casemiro has already confirmed that he will leave Manchester United at the end of his contract this summer.
The Brazilian midfielder will depart before the beginning of the 2026/27 campaign.
The leaked designs of the shirt appear to show a classic-inspired look.
As seen in previously shared images online, the new Adidas kit keeps United’s traditional red base but introduces a striped collar along with matching sleeve detailing.
White shorts with black stripes are also expected to return, while the socks feature a black design with red trim.
Another noticeable addition is the ‘UNITED’ wording placed on the back collar area of the shirt.
Many supporters have already compared the overall design to some of Manchester United’s more retro kits from previous decades.
The teaser announcement from the club now strongly suggests the full launch will officially take place on May 14.
Manchester United have increasingly used social media reveals and early kit debuts in recent years to build anticipation around new releases.
With Champions League football secured for next season and excitement already growing around the summer transfer window, the launch of the new shirt is expected to generate significant attention among supporters.
