Manchester United officially confirm squad to face AC Milan

Mancheester United are due to face AC Milan tomorrow in their final pre-season match of the summer before the Premier League season gets underway.

United, led by Michael Carrick, have succeeded in pre-season games so far this summer with the side beating Rosenberg, Atletico Madrid, and Leeds United.

Milan, managed by former Red Devils boss Ruben Amoorim, have not won a single game in his tenureship so far this summer.

Both sides have moved to make signings in this summer’s transfer window that can improve their respective squads for the new campaign.

Manchester United have signed Andrey Santos from Chelsea and Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa, among others.

AC Milan, on the other hand, have signed Goncalo Ramos from Paris Saint Germain, Mario Gila from Lazio, and Sankhoun Diawara from Troyes, in an effor to improve.

Now, ahead of the match, United have confirmed their squad.

Taking to the official Manchester United website, the club has stated that the following people are in the squad:

• Goalkeepers: Dermot Mee, Fred Heath, Senne Lammens.
• Defenders: Ayden Heaven, Diogo Dalot, Harry Amass, Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Noussair Mazraoui, Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu.
• Midfielders: Andrey Santos, Bruno Fernandes, Jack Fletcher, Kobbie Mainoo, Toby Collyer, Tyler Fletcher, Youri Tielemans.
• Forwards: Amad, Bryan Mbeumo, JJ Gabriel, Joshua Zirkzee, Marcus Rashford, Matheus Cunha, Shea Lacey.

Lisandro Martinez is amongst those returning from the World Cup, having played in the final for Argentina against Spain, whilst more youthful names such as JJ Gabriel remain in the squad.

Among those not named from the squad that faced Leeds United is defender Dan Armer, goalkeeper Soloman Honor, and attacker Tyran Thompson.

The match against AC Milan kicks off at 19:45 BST and is taking place at Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland.
