Manchester United officially sign 23-year-old Sweden winger

Manchester United have officially completed another signing as the summer transfer window enters its final days.

United have already been extremely active in the market, with Michael Carrick overseeing a major rebuild of his squad.

Midfield has received the biggest transformation.

Youri Tielemans arrived first before Andrey Santos followed, giving Carrick two new options in the middle of the pitch.

Carlos Baleba then became United’s third midfield addition earlier this week after completing his move from Brighton and Hove Albion.

Attention has since turned towards what United could still accomplish before the window shuts.

A new left-back remains high on the agenda, with Alejandro Balde, Lewis Hall and Myles Lewis-Skelly among the names linked with moves to Old Trafford.

There could also be room for another attacking addition if departures create space in the squad.

United have now announced another arrival, although the latest signing is not being added to Carrick’s first-team squad.

Manchester United Women have officially signed Monica Jusu Bah from Swedish side BK Hacken.

The 23-year-old Sweden international can operate as a winger or striker, giving the club another versatile option in attack.

Jusu Bah came through the youth systems at Mariehem and Umea IK before breaking into senior football with the latter in 2020.

She scored 21 league goals across 52 appearances for Umea before joining Hacken in 2023.

Her development continued there, with the forward establishing herself at the top level of Swedish football.

Jusu Bah has also progressed through Sweden’s international setup, representing her country at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-23 level.

She made her senior Sweden debut against Bosnia and Herzegovina in February 2024 and has since broken into the national-team picture.

Her honours include the 2025 Damallsvenskan title and the 2025/26 UEFA Women’s Europa Cup with Häcken.

United confirmed the arrival on Friday, welcoming Jusu Bah to the club ahead of the new campaign.
