Stade Rennais standout Désiré Doué will be a player in high demand this summer. Among the clubs reportedly interested in the Frenchman are Arsenal, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain.

The 18-year-old made 43 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals and registering six assists this 2023-24 season. Nonetheless, it’s the Red Devils who might be pushing aggressively to land Doué this summer, considering the number of suitors there will be.

According to Academy Scoop, Manchester United have held initial talks with the representatives of the Rennes wonderkid. Moreover, the report reveals that a formal offer might be made in the next few weeks.

INEOS is keen to move quickly to stay ahead of the competition, and PSG and Arsenal have also shown interest. The player wants to leave Rennes, but he’s under contract until 2026, so the French side has leverage in attempting to secure a fee that they find suitable.

How much would the player cost? Transfermarkt put Doué’s transfer value at €20 million, but with these top-level European clubs eyeing the youngster, the asking price will likely go up.
