Manchester United starlet Facundo Pellistri appears to be in disagreement with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over where his future lies.

Pellistri signed for Man United from Peñarol back in October of last year, before joining Spanish outfit Alaves on loan in January.

With the Uruguayan now back with the Red Devils, he featured in their pre-season clash with Derby County on Sunday, during which he scored as Man United won 2-1.

As quoted by the Daily Mail, Pellistri told MUTV after the game that he would like to stick around at United and fight for his place in the squad.

“I went on loan to Alaves, I feel good, now I’m here trying my best, always pushing forward.”

“I would like to stay here but I’m still working hard, improving and continue working.”

However, his manager doesn’t appear to be on the same page. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is quoted in the same report revealing his belief that Pellistri will go out on loan.

“I can see a loan deal for him, there’s been loads of interest and for his best interests a loan would be what we look for.”

You imagine that Solskjaer’s word carries more weight than a 19-year-old who’s never played a minute of competitive football for Man United.

Pellistri could be discontented if the club betray his wishes and send him out on loan, though.
