Manchester United travelling squad for Wrexham game revealed

Manchester United are due to kick-off their pre-season fixture list tomorrow afternoon with the side facing Wrexham.

The Red Devils, who finished third in the Premier League last season, will play in the Champions League next season for the first time since the 2021-22 campaign.

Michael Carrick will be the man to lead the charge for success in the upcoming campaign, having been appointed to the permanent post following the conclusion of the previous campaign.

Ahead of the first pre-season fixture, United have been active in the transfer market, signing Andrey Santos, Karl Dalow, and Youri Tielemans.

The club are also set to sign further players before the transfer window closes at the start of September in an attempt to improve their squad.

Now, as the new season approaches, Manchester United have revealed their pre-season squad that will travel to Helsinki for the side’s first pre-season game against Wrexham.

As revealed on the club’s official website, the squad is:

Goalkeepers: Tom Heaton, Radek Vitek, Dermot Mee.

Defenders: Harry Maguire, Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw, Ayden Heaven, Harry Amass, Jaydan Kamason, Dan Armer.

Midfielders: Mason Mount, Andrey Santos, Jack Fletcher, Tyler Fletcher, Toby Collyer, Dan Gore, Jacob Devaney, Jim Thwaites.

Forwards: Joshua Zirkzee, Bryan Mbeumo, Chido Obi, Ethan Wheatley, Shea Lacey, Ethan Williams.

New signing Santos features in the squad whilst Tielemans misses out as he continues to recover from his efforts at the World Cup with Belgium.

Dalow has also missed out on the squad as he continues to recover from a procedure that he had at the conclusion of the previous campaign.

Benjamin Sesko, on the other hand, had missed out too as he continues to work towards full fitness after missing the final three games of the 2025-26 season.

Manchester United’s fixture with Wrexham is due to kick-off at 16:00 BST tomorrow afternoon where both youthful players and more senior players may be seen playing.
