Fulham's previous Premier League match was a 2-1 home win over Brighton. After going 1-0 down, Fulham completed the comeback in the second half with goals from Samuel Chukwueze and Harry Wilson.

Earlier this season, Fulham hosted Manchester United at Craven Cottage on August 24, 2025. Fulham and Manchester United drew 1-1; Rodrigo Muniz scored an own goal to give Manchester United the lead, but Emile Smith Rowe scored the equalizer.
