The 35th matchweek of the Premier League will see Manchester United vs Liverpool at Old Trafford. Both teams are in contention to qualify for Champions League football, and a win for either team gets them direct qualification.

Manchester United is 3rd with 61 points after 34 league matches played, and Liverpool is 4th with 58 points after 34 matches played.

Manchester United will only need a point to qualify for the Champions League following Brighton's 2-1 loss to Newcastle United yesterday. Liverpool can get very close to qualification with a win over Manchester United.

The two teams faced off earlier this season at Anfield on October 19, 2025. Manchester United won the match 2-1 with goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Harry Maguire.
