On Saturday afternoon, Manchester United will be looking to make it back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time under Ruben Amorim, when they face Brentford down in West London for the early kickoff.

Last time out, United got all three points with a win over Brentford's neighbors Chelsea, in a wild match that saw two first-half red cards and three substitutions. Despite Enzo Maresca's side getting a goal back late on, they were able to see the game out for an important win.

However, United will be tasked with going for a consecutive win without Amad Diallo, with Amorim confirming that the 23-year-old will not be available for selection at the G-Tech Community Stadium.

During his media availability on Friday, Amorim told reporters, "Amad is not with us as a member of his family passed away. We are giving all the support to Amad and understood he needed to return home."

Although United will be down a key starter, there are personal and family matters more important than football. Saturday will mark Diallo's first absence from the lineup this season.

On the pitch, Diallo has taken nine shots on goal but has yet to register a point in five matches (four starts) after posting eight goals and six assists in 26 matches last season.

Manchester United (7 points) currently sit in 11th place in the Premier League standings, while Brentford (4 points) holds down 17th place after losing two of their last three matches.

Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 local time on Saturday.
