Marcus Rashford recently finished his loan spell at Barcelona, which spanned the entirety of the 2025-26 campaign.
The England international, who is currently battling for his nation at the World Cup in North America, is set to return to Manchester United following the conclusion of England’s efforts at the tournament.
His future at Old Trafford is as uncertain as ever, however, as the summer transfer window approaches the end of its first month.
Rashford has already been approached by three Saudi Pro League sides, Al-Qadsiah, Al-Hilal and Al-Diriyah, whilst alternative reports have revealed that Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Aston Villa are all closely monitoring the situation.
The winger will currently stay at Manchester United, given that no official approaches have been made to the Red Devils.
Ahead of his return to Manchester United pre-season training, Marcus Rashford has now opened up on his future helping to provide supporters with further insights.
Speaking in response to a question surrounding his immediate future, the England international stated: “As a person, I live in the moment. I was very clear with everyone involved before the World Cup.
“I wanted it done before, and if not, then I won’t deal with it until after, because I want to fully be present in this moment.
“At the same time we’re fighting for something. I don’t have energy to be putting into other things.”
Rashford’s desire to “live in the moment” points towards a direct focus on his efforts with England ahead of the side’s fixture against Mexico in the Round of 16.
Supporters are now left to speculate on the winger’s true desires relating to his future ahead of the coming weeks.
Whether that is with Manchester United or not remains to be seen, but those with eyes on the situation currently will hope that the opportunity for a move opens up.
