Barcelona entertained Celta Vigo at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in La Liga. The Catalan giants made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 40th minute when Lamine Yamal scored from the penalty spot. Hansi Flick’s men went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.

The Catalan outfit protected their slender advantage well and earned a narrow 1-0 win at the Nou Camp.

Let’s take a look at how each Barcelona player fared during the clash against Celta Vigo.

GK: Joan Garcia – 7/10

Garcia made a few solid saves at the back and did enough to secure the clean sheet tonight.

RB: Jules Kounde – 6.5/10

He performed his defensive duties well but offered very little going forward.

CB: Pau Cubarsi – 7/10

Cubarsi cleared his lines when he could and did enough to keep a clean sheet.

CB: Gerard Martin – 8/10

He gave a good account of himself when defending inside his half.

LB: Joao Cancelo – 6.5/10

He made a solid start to the game but had to be substituted in the 22nd minute.

CM: Pedri – 7.5/10

Pedri was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.

CM: Eric Garcia – 7/10

He anchored the midfield well and was a good presence on the ball.

RW: Lamine Yamal – 7.5/10

Yamal was a real threat on the right flank and scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 40th minute.

CAM: Dani Olmo – 6.5/10

He caught the eye at times in the final third, but there was no goal for him.

LW: Gavi – 6/10

Gavi struggled to impress in the first 45 minutes and was replaced at half-time.

ST: Ferran Torres – 6.5/10

Torres caused some problems for the opposition defenders but failed to find the back of the net.

Substitutes:

LB: Alejandro Balde – 6.5/10

He was solid at the back.

CAM: Fermin Lopez – 7/10

Lopez made a few dangerous runs with the ball.

RW: Roony Bardghji – 7/10

He was lively after coming off the bench.

CM: Frenkie de Jong – 6/10

De Jong added some energy to Flick’s midfield.

LW: Marcus Rashford – 6/10

He made one promising run with the ball.
