Mason Greenwood has excelled at the forefront of Marseille’s unit since his move to the club in 2024, scoring 45 times in 69 appearances.

The Manchester United academy graduate has also provided 13 assists to the side, aiding them as they strive for success in competitions such as Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League.

Meanwhile, he has also matched the feat of Ballon D’Or winner Jean-Pierre Papin through scoring four times in one games for the club.

However, his spell in France has also faced difficulty with him openly ignored by Marseille’s Director of Football Medhi Benatia whilst also sparking a mass brawl earlier this season.

But, on the most part, the former English international’s spell at the French outfit can be said to be mostly successful so far, with it holding the potential for future success.

Now, Mason Greenwood has achieved another personal milestone with the club with him reaching 23 goals for a club for the first time in his career.

Previously, the former Manchester United player reached the mark of 22 goals with this achievement coming last campaign.

With the season now over yet, reaching this mark already can be said to be a sign of how much he has developed whilst with Marseille.

Meanwhile, with the Ligue 1 outfit already rejecting bids for the 24-year-old last summer, new suitors may emerge in the coming months with higher bids than before due to his record highs.

Given Manchester United hold a sell-on clause in the prospect that Greenwood is sold, the Red Devils may choose to keep a close eye on the situation.

However, with the season not over yet, the 24-year-old may choose to stay focused on the present instead of the future in the aim of reaching the highest possible goal return.
