Maxx Crosby confirmed Friday that he is joining the world of soccer, revealing that he is now part of the ownership group of a Premier League club.

Crosby, 28, shared a post from Leeds United Americas revealing that the Las Vegas Raiders Pro Bowl defensive end has invested in Leeds United F.C.

"God Is Great," Crosby wrote on X, accompanied by yellow and blue hearts in the colors of his new club.

Interestingly, the ownership group of LUFC has been entirely 49ers Enterprises since 2023, also the strategic investment and business arm of the NFL's San Francisco 49ers.

Crosby most recently signed a historic three-year, $106.5 million contract extension in 2025, and has earned over $96 million in his NFL career to date.

What Else Does 49ers Enterprises Own?

The company in which Crosby has invested as a minority shareholder, in addition to owning Leeds United, expanded in May 2025 by acquiring a 51% stake in Scottish club Rangers, according to the BBC.

Besides soccer, the company chaired by Paraag Marathe also includes StatusPRO, Recap, and the consulting firm Elevate.

Returning to Leeds United, the club is currently in 15th place in the Premier League standings, with 30 points after 26 matches, and is competing closely with clubs like Tottenham, Brighton, Crystal Palace, and Fulham to climb the table.

LUFC has an American player in its ranks, Brenden Aaronson, 25, who is, in fact, considered by many to be the club's biggest star. This season, he has recorded four goals and three assists.
