Adli joins Al-Shabab – official statement

“AC Milan can confirm that Yacine Adli has made a permanent transfer to Al-Shabab Club,” the Rossoneri said.

“The Club would like to thank Yacine and wishes him all the best for his future personal and professional endeavours.”

According to several Italian sources, including Goal.com, Milan earned €7m, including add-ons, from Adli’s transfer.

Adli returned to Milan in June after a one-season loan spell at Fiorentina.

He had joined the Rossoneri in an €9m deal from French side Bordeaux in 2021 and made 56 appearances in Serie A, scoring five goals and providing eight assists with Milan and Fiorentina.

Al Shabab had hired Serie A legend and ex-Juventus star and director Pavel Nedved as their new sporting director earlier in January.

Adli’s Fiorentina spell in numbers

During the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Fiorentina, Adli scored five goals and provided seven assists in 35 appearances across all competitions.

He even scored against Milan in a 2-1 Fiorentina victory at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on October 6, 2024.
