Milan are working on two additions to strengthen their backline in January and June, Radu Dragusin and Mario Gila. The Tottenham man is wanted by a few sides, but his team doesn’t seem keen on letting him go out on a simple loan, Corriere dello Sport relays.

The two sides could meet in the middle and agree to a temporary formula with an option to buy. The Spurs have a vested interest in him playing regularly following a major knee injury. Conversely, the Rossoneri would have the chance to retain him if he fared well enough, but they wouldn’t be forced to.

While Dragusin is a target for January, recent rumors from Spain suggested Milan were already in very advanced terms to bring in Gila at the end of the season. Real Madrid are involved in the talks since they are owed 50 percent of the fee for the sale of their youth product. The Biancocelesti paid €6M for him back in 2022.

While the Rossoneri haven’t sealed the deal just yet, they wish to do so during the Spring, before the summer window opens and the competition increases. The capital club asks for about €20M. Director Igli Tare, who brought the center-back to Italy in the first place, believes he’s worth the investment.

Our Take on Milan, Dragusin, and Gila

They are eyeing two solid players, but they wouldn’t necessarily be marked improvements over their current contributors, although doing so would require a splash. If they are planning a twofer, it’d be better if they signed one lefty. They are a little in trouble whenever Strahinja Pavlovic is absent.
