Milan enjoy huge pre-order increase on new home shirt – most popular players

AC Milan have seen a big increase in the number of pre-orders for the new home shirt when compared to the current season’s shirt.

The new home shirt for the 2024/25 season was revealed on Thursday and it has been met with glowing reviews by the majority of the fanbase and the wider footballing world.

Those positive reviews have shown up on the balance sheet as there has been a 58% increase in the number of pre-orders for the shirt when compared to the current shirt, reported by Milan News.

The majority of these orders have come from fans within Italy, with the next highest country being the United States of America.

That information feeds into the players whose names have been chosen the most for the back of the purchased shirts. The three most popular players in this regard are Rafael Leao, Theo Hernandez, and Christian Pulisic of the United States.

The ‘classic style’ of the new shirt features stripes of equal width, a plain back where the name and number printing will be (as league regulations require) and also a patch just below the neck commemorating 125 years of history of Milan.

Whilst the shirt certainly looks great, the best way to make it a historic one is to win trophies whilst wearing it.
