Milan will formally welcome Samuele Ricci later this week and are intensifying their pursuit of Ardon Jashari, who’s seen as the ideal piece to round out their new-look midfield. They have some competition, but he has okayed the move and is putting pressure on Club Brugge, Calciomercato informs.

The Rossoneri have progressively gotten closer to the request and will soon put more than €35M on the table including bonuses. The counterparty wants more. Borussia Dortmund are in the mix, but the youngster prioritizes a transfer to San Siro.

The acquisition of Jashari isn’t imminent, but Milan are fairly confident. Club Brugge have started testing the waters for some replacements. As for their other moves in the same role, they have stopped chasing Granit Xhaka after securing Ricci. Bayer Leverkusen ask for too much given his age.

In the other direction, Yunus Musah remains on his way out, even though the negotiation with Napoli has ground to a halt. He has a €30M price tag and some English suitors: West Ham, Nottingham Forest, and Wolverhampton. Yacine Adli, who’s back from a loan to Fiorentina, would like to stay and convince Massimiliano Allegri. He has a good offer from Qatar. Instead, the coach has vetoed the departure of Ruben Loftus-Cheek since he’s potentially their most prolific midfielder.

Our Take on Milan and Jashari

They have already gone the extra mile and seem pot committed to signing him, but they should be careful not to get too crazy, as large fees can always backfire, as they have learnt with another player from the same team not too long ago. They are in a much more stable state now, though.
