Milan have resumed interest in Guela Doué, brother of PSG star Désiré, as the Rossoneri aim to sign a new right-back.

Strasbourg right-back Doué, 22, is a genuine transfer target for Serie A giants Milan as the Rossoneri aim to sign a new player in that position after Kyle Walker and Davide Calabria’s departures and Emerson Royal’s imminent exit.

Milan interested in Doué for the right-back role

La Gazzetta dello Sport first reported Milan’s interest in Doué last month (on June 12).

Doué is under contract with Strasbourg until June 2029. He joined the French club from their domestic rivals Rennes for less than €7m a year ago.

Why Milan want Doué

The 22-year-old is fast and has room for improvement, and the Rossoneri are once again considering signing him this summer.

Doué is the brother of PSG star Désiré, scorer of two goals in the Champions League Final against Inter on May 31.

Milan have already begun the pre-season under new coach Massimiliano Allegri, who was unveiled at a press conference on Monday.
