Italy international Samuele Ricci is expected to undergo his medical and sign the necessary documents to become a new Milan player by the end of the week, as the Rossoneri close in on their first permanent arrival of the 2025 summer transfer window.

Ricci is expected to move to Milan from Torino by the end of the week after the two clubs shook hands over a €25m deal, worth €23m guaranteed and up to €2m in additional bonuses.

The 23-year-old is expected to put pen to paper on a four-year contract with an option for an additional 12 months, reportedly worth around €2.5m per season in wages.

When will Ricci complete Milan move?

According to Tuesday’s updates, Ricci is expected to undergo his Rossoneri medical and then sign off on the final details of his move on Thursday. Calciomercato.com predicts that an official announcement from the club will arrive shortly afterwards.

The 10-time Italy international is not the only midfielder expected to arrive in San Siro this summer, though, as Luka Modric is also expected to come in on a free transfer at the end of his Real Madrid duties this summer, while negotiations continue for Ardon Jashari.

Torino, meanwhile, are expected to intensify discussions with Empoli for former Chelsea midfielder Tino Anjorin as a replacement for the departing Ricci.
