Colombian side Millonarios are historically one of the top teams in Liga DIMAYOR, and are looking to prepare for their next campaign.
In March, Millonarios have their first round of the Copa Sudamericana, taking on Atletico Nacional, with the pair continuously fighting it out at the top of the Colombian league.
Whilst Millonarios won the league last in 2023, Atletico Nacional won in 2024, and the pair are currently the clubs with the most league titles on record.
With a combined 34 titles, Nacional hold the record for most titles with 18, whilst Millonarios are just behind with 16.
Now, in a bid to boost their firepower to catch up on Nacional, Millonarios have officially re-signed Radamel Falcao.
The former Manchester United, Chelsea and Monaco striker joined the Colombian side first in July 2024 from Rayo Vallecano on a free transfer.
However, after one year at the club, with 29 appearances and 11 goals, even taking on the captain’s armband, Falcao’s contract came to an end, leaving him clubless this summer.
Now, six months on, his most recent club have announced his return with a tagline: “OneLastDance”.
Taking to their official website, Millonarios published an announcement video promoting his return to Estadio Nemesio Camacho.
Falcao is known for his presence in front of goal, grabbing 354 goals and 66 assists in 728 games for club and country.
During his varied career, taking him from Argentina to Portugal, Spain, France, England, Turkey and now home to Colombia, Radamel Falcao had a season-long stint at Old Trafford.
In 2014 the striker joined from Monaco on loan under the management of Louis van Gaal, scoring only four goals and grabbing five assists in 29 games.
Unfortunately for the striker it wasn’t a strong enough delivery for the loan-spell to be made permanent, with him returning to Monaco, only to return to England on loan with Chelsea.
