Gordon Stipic, the agent of the 31-year-old Turkey captain, is expected to hold talks with Galatasaray, but the latest reports from Italian media suggest that Inter have not yet received a satisfactory offer.

Corriere dello Sport (via TMW) claims that the Nerazzurri have already rejected an opening €30m bid, with the intention of selling Calhanoglu for €40m.

According to Tuttosport, Gala would offer Calhanoglu a €10m-a-year contract, and even the midfielder’s father has fuelled transfer speculation on Instagram, writing that he hopes his son will join the Turkish club in the future.

Calhanoglu joined Inter on a free transfer from Milan in 2021 and has two years left in his contract at the Stadio Meazza.
