The coronavirus pandemic that led to the suspension of the 2020 Major League Soccer season after only two matchdays has claimed three North American soccer competitions.
On Tuesday afternoon, MLS confirmed that the 2020 All-Star Game between squads of top players from MLS and Liga MX, the second annual Leagues Cup, and the Campeones Cup between the reigning MLS Cup holders and the Liga MX Campeon de Campeones winners have all been canceled due to the pandemic.
Next year's MLS All-Star Game will feature the same format from this year's postponed match. Both the Leagues Cup and Campeones Cup are also scheduled to occur in 2021.

MLS and the MLS Players Association haven't yet reached an agreement for the resumption of the season during the uncontrolled virus outbreak. Last week, ESPN's Jeff Carlisle reported the league's 26 clubs could flock to Orlando for a summer tournament.
