Major League Soccer announced last week that players would be able to return to team facilities beginning Wednesday. The time has come, and every player who arrives at a facility is undergoing medical screenings before they're allowed to officially enter.
MLS worked with medical professionals to come up with safety protocols, and the changes went into effect on May 6.
Many players are already taking advantage of the tremendous opportunity to get back on the field at training facilities, and the MLS posted a video Wednesday showing many Orlando City and Sporting Kansas City players wearing masks, using hand sanitizer and getting their temperatures taken before beginning to practice.

Of course these workouts are voluntary, and no one is being forced to practice, but it seems like more and more players will continue to take advantage of the opportunity.
The league also shared a video of players practicing with masks on, which is to be expected under the current circumstances.
While there's no return date for a resume to the MLS season, players being allowed to train in these facilities certainly is a start.
