
The MLS playoffs have reached the Conference Semifinals stage after the best-of-three round ended on Sunday.
San Diego FC eliminated the Portland Timbers after beating them 4-0. The first match was won by the California side 2-1, and the second ended in a 2-2 draw and was won by Portland on penalties.
San Diego, Minnesota United, Los Angeles FC, Vancouver Whitecaps, FC Cincinnati, Inter Miami, New York City FC, and Philadelphia Union secured their spot in the next phase.
Minnesota eliminated Seattle, LAFC eliminated Austin, Vancouver eliminated Dallas, Cincinnati eliminated Columbus, Miami eliminated Nashville, NYCFC eliminated Charlotte, and Philadelphia eliminated Chicago.

The dates are not entirely confirmed, but on the official MLS website, you can read the following: "The single-elimination win-or-go-home Conference Semifinals will be contested on Saturday, November 22, and Sunday, November 23. MLS regular-season play is key as each of the four matches are hosted by the team with the better regular-season record.
Furthermore, although not yet confirmed, San Diego FC is set to host the Timbers on Monday, November 24, and not Sunday the 23rd, due to organizational and field maintenance reasons at Snapdragon Stadium.
