Inter Milan prodigy Francesco Pio Esposito has made a strong impression in the early stages of the season.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the 20-year-old is showcasing his talent and maturity beyond his years.

Though it’s his first senior season at San Siro, Francesco Pio Esposito doesn’t cease to amaze.

Indeed, the talented center-forward has gone from strength to strength under the guidance of Cristian Chivu.

For strikers, scoring goals is the ultimate measure of their effectiveness and impact on the team.

However, there are more important things than just pure numbers.

Despite only scoring twice in eight appearances, Esposito has impressed with his movement, link-up play, and ability to create chances for his teammates.

Therefore, his influence extends beyond just finding the back of the net.

On Tuesday, he scored his first-ever goal in the Champions League, helping Inter win the game 4-0.

Yet, before finding his continental breakthrough, he set up Lautaro Martinez for Inter’s second.

It was yet another example of the youngster’s sophisticated game sense and awareness.
