Moise Kean, Artem Dovbyk and Francesco Pio Esposito are reported to be among Inter’s targets to replace Romelu Lukaku, but Italian sources claim Inter have already rejected a €45m bid for their striker.
Napoli are looking for a new centre-forward as Romelu Lukaku has been ruled out for several weeks with a severe thigh injury.
Rasmus Hojlund of Manchester United is reportedly on the Partenopei’s agenda, but the latest reports in Italy suggest Napoli are interested in other centre-forwards, all playing in Serie A.
Sky Sport transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio says Dovbyk is an option for the Partenopei, while according to Il Mattino, the defending Serie A champions are considering a last-minute offer for Fiorentina and Italy star Kean.
As per SportMediaset and TMW, Inter striker Pio Esposito is more than a mere transfer target for Napoli, to the extent that the Partenopei have already sent a €45m bid for the 20-year-old.
Inter, however, are unwilling to sell the promising centre-forward for any price and have rejected the Napoli proposal.
One of the names to watch for Napoli in the last days of the summer transfer window is Genk’s Tolu Arokodare, as Football Italia reported on Tuesday night.
