Jesper Lindstrom is off to a slow start, as he hasn’t gotten many opportunities so far. However, the attacker isn’t sweating the situation, as he told CalcioNapoli24.

“I don’t know how much time I’ll need to be my true self. I moved from German to Italian football. It could take a while. I’m ready and looking forward to traveling back to practice. I love playing football and being in Naples. I wish to show the fans my passion. The city is beautiful. It’s different, but I’m enjoying it.”

Lindstrom backed Rudi Garcia.

“We need victories. We’re a nice team and have great quality collectively, and we’re all friends. Then, it’s football. At times everything hums, then there could be negative moments. We necessitate to play well to get out of this slump.”

Lindstrom said he fit right in.

“I love playing with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Victor Osimhen, and Giacomo Raspadori, and everybody else. We have strong footballers who are good guys off the pitch too. It’s easy to be part of this team and it’s great to play in a side with so much quality.”

Lindstrom joined Napoli in a €25M move from Eintracht Frankfurt late last summer. He has appeared four times so far, starting just once. He has played third fiddle to Matteo Politano and Elijf Elmas in his position and is still searching for his first goal contribution with the Azzurri colors.
