Dan Ndoye remains the no.1 target for Napoli in their search for a new winger on the transfer market, but the Partenopei have also received an update from Chelsea after making an enquiry over England international Raheem Sterling.
Ndoye is still the first name on Napoli’s list of potential new attackers this window. The Rossoblu are seeking a fee with a fixed base of around €40m, with add-ons pushing the deal up to somewhere in the region of €45m.
Napoli will try again to strike a deal with Vincenzo Italiano’s side for the Switzerland international, but they are also keeping other options open with a few weeks of the transfer window left to go.
Among the potential alternatives for Napoli is Chelsea winger Sterling following the expiry of his season-long loan deal with Arsenal in 2024-25.
Napoli were in contact with the West Londoners on Thursday to discuss the possibility of a move and are aware of the fact that the 30-year-old is not part of Enzo Maresca’s plans for the coming season.
There are yet more options out wide for Napoli this summer, though, including 22-year-old Brazilian winger Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk, who has been offered to the Partenopei. He will be evaluated, but not at this stage of the window.
