The CONCACAF Champions Cup Round of 16 has begun this week, and Inter Miami will be playing against Nashville SC over two legs.

The first leg will be played today, with Nashville hosting Inter Miami at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee.

Nashville played in Round 1 of the CONCACAF Champions Cup against Atletico Ottawa last month. Nashville reached the Round of 16 after beating Atletico Ottawa 7-0 over two legs.

Over the weekend, Nashville and Inter Miami played in the MLS, and both teams won their respective matches. Nashville defeated Minnesota United with two goals from Sam Surridge and a goal from Cristian Espinoza.

Inter Miami defeated DC United away from home with goals from Rodrigo De Paul and Lionel Messi.

Nashville and Inter Miami last played each other in the MLS playoffs last season across three games. Inter Miami won Game 3 of their MLS playoff matchup to reach the Eastern Conference semifinals.
