Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi feels that his team must demonstrate the best version of themselves in tomorrow evening’s Supercoppa Italiana match against AC Milan.

Speaking to InterTV ahead of the match, via FCInterNews, the coach stressed that if the Nerazzurri can get the win over their city rivals and win the Supercoppa, it can positively impact the rest of their season,

Inter will have their first opportunity to compete for silverware in tomorrow evening’s Supercoppa match.

Not only would victory add one more trophy to the club’s cabinet and see them defender their crown from last season, but it would also give the team momentum, something which they are perhaps lacking at the moment.

However, beating the Rossoneri will be anything but easy, and Inzaghi and his team will have to get their approach exactly right if they are to get the result that they’re looking for.

“We come into the match in good form,” the coach said, “we’ve had three wins and a draw, but it could have easily been four wins.”

“The team is training well, tomorrow is a one-off match and we need to put all distractions aside and play like the real Inter.”

Inzaghi added that “Winning would give us a big boost, it’s a final and you always have to keep your head in the game, running and fighting for your teammates.”

“Winning would give a great impetus, they are final and you always have to keep your head in the game, making an extra run for your partner. That lets you finish the game without regrets, ever”.

“That way you can end the match without any regrets.”
