Newcastle bring in specialist for Miley

Newcastle United have real fears regarding the fitness of Lewis Miley this season.

The 17-year-old is set to miss the remainder of the campaign with a troublesome back issue.

Manager Eddie Howe confirmed that Miley has played his part for the club this term.

He stated to reporters: He's done brilliantly this season, but I think with the back problem that he has, rest is probably the right way for us to go and even if there was a chance.

And there possibly was if we pushed him to come back we took that away very early with his age and thinking about his long-term prospects."

Per Chronicle Live, the club are working with a specialist to ensure that Miley's injury is not long-term.
