Newcastle defender Burn: Luton worst performance since I came here

Newcastle United defender Dan Burn says defeat at Luton wasn't good enough.

Burn admits the 1-0 loss was the worst performance in his time with the club.

"That's not us," the Newcastle defender said. "We've not performed like that since I've been here. I don't mind being outplayed by teams, but being outworked and outfought was unlike us.

"First and foremost when you come to a team like Luton, you have to outwork them and be a bit more physical. That's where you have to start and we didn't do that.

"It's something that is going to have to pick up if we want to get in the Champions League."
