According to ESPN, only four executives knew about the pursuit to land Neymar. Apparently, it was a "big secret" within the company that it had been working to sign the player for a few months.
Neymar recently resumed training with PSG this week after missing their opening Ligue 1 match against Lens after testing positive for the coronavirus.
The 28-year-old has helped PSG win three Ligue 1 titles and also helped them reach the Champions League final in August.
